What A World

Up until now I never wrote or created anything with the purpose to share it. This is the first step to what I hope brings human connection, community, and joy. What A World is a personal saying from my childhood. I would mutter those three words anytime something noticeable happened. Stories about history or the current day news would have me thinking “what a world”. Laughing so hard my cheeks hurt, “what a world”. Seeing over 500 seniors sitting together waiting to cross a stage at 18 years old with family all around us, “what a world”. Sad stories of loss and trauma, “what a world”. To me it was a way to say “I am here in the moment listening, experiencing, and connecting to this point in time only because of this world” good, bad, and in between, what a world. 

This project is meant to spot light human beings “what a world” moments, realities, dreams, and more. A place to show creativity or imagination. A place to be open or to showcase their reality. The goal of this project is to inspire, connect, and comfort all that see this project or become part of it. I hope this project turns into a practice and informal template for community building. Please join me in finding joy through connection with everyone we share this world with.
